SMS Consent

SMS consent for maintenance communications.

This page describes how and where tenants of Glorion-managed properties opt in to receive transactional text messages related to maintenance requests.

Tenants provide their mobile phone number when applying to rent a Glorion-managed property through our Buildium resident portal. Consent to receive text messages from Aria is confirmed separately, as part of the signed lease, before any maintenance-related text is sent:

"Tenant agrees to receive transactional text messages from Aria / Glorion Management Partners regarding maintenance requests, including acknowledgments, status updates, scheduling information, and related service communications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for help."

Providing a mobile phone number on a rental application does not, by itself, constitute consent to receive text messages. No maintenance-related text message is sent to a tenant until this signed lease consent is on file. Consent may be withdrawn at any time by replying STOP.

Where the phone number is collected

From an applicant's Buildium rental application record, showing the mobile phone number field:

The same application's Terms and Conditions, showing how Buildium records an applicant's agreement with a name and timestamp:

This screen currently confirms agreement to a background check and Buildium's own terms; SMS-specific consent is captured separately, as described above, as part of the signed lease.

Opt in directly

Tenants and residents can also confirm their SMS opt-in directly using this form, which records their name, property, phone number, and consent with a timestamp:
